THE MUSEUM

Native American Exhibit




The Bill And Juanita Hayward Arrowhead Collection is featured.

The Native Nisenan lived in Sierra County long before the Gold Miners, Hunters, and White Settlers came. They Hunted and lived a Nomadic life.
Many different native tribes lived in northern California. The Maidu and Nisenan were located North of Sacramento and up to about Susanville, CA.
The Native American Exhibit features major Arrowhead Collections, Pictures, Bows, Mortar & Pestle, Pipes, Baskets, and various other Artifacts.
