Time passes by. It was
only yesterday that the Middaughs lived in this cabin and mined. Since then, time has
taken its toll on Middaugh's cabin. The cabin needs rebuilding or will deteriorate beyond repair.
The forest service is tearing down these old Sierra County mining cabins as fire hazards. GoodyearsBar.com wants to save as many of these old

has completed major work on this important project located in California. The following pictures show the work completed in 2005-7. In the coming year, 2008, work will
